Dr Karen Gresty - Bone Box 1: the axial skeleton

The aim of this resource is for you to become familiar with the structure and function of different types of bones in the human body. By exploring the main features of the human skeleton, you should be able to recognise the different categories of bone and how they articulate with each other. This resource deals with the axial skeleton, i.e. the skull, ribs, sternum and vertebral column.
