About LABplus

LABplus is a drop-in facility for the use of all Plymouth University students. However, the resources offered are predominantly for the natural and environmental sciences. These resources are under constant development, and to view a current list see the Projects page. Resources may build on lectures, practicals or modules, or provide pre- or post-fieldtrip study aids.

Each resource normally consists of two components: the physical box (a box in the lab containing all the items connected with the resource) and a virtual box (a folder on the website that contains additional materials such as datasets, images and movies, reading lists, links to external resources and other related LABplus boxes). To find the location of the physical box in the lab, see the signs up around the lab, search the voyager catalogue or check the virtual box (which contains the location of the physical box). Virtual boxes can be accessed through the Projects page.

Staff - if you think your teaching could benefit from a resource in LABplus, then click here to find out how to get your idea in to the lab.

A Work Request Form can be downloaded here.

Students - if you think your courses could be improved by extra resources, talk to your lecturers or the LABplus staff .
